2015 – Vermont Secedes from Union, Industrial Age, Internet Connections

BURLINGTON – June 14th, 2015 – Denouncing America’s continuing trend towards conservative politics and a technological singularity, the state of Vermont yesterday formally seceded from the United States, shut down all factories, and severed the electrical and telecom grid.

Asked if there would be a military response, President Nader responded, “Let those freaks see how they survive without us. You can’t live on marijuana brownies forever.”
